The spire from St Antholin Church which was torn down in 1875. The spire was the only stone spire by Christopher Wren and bought for 5 pounds by a printer named Harold Harrild in 1825 when it was replaced. He moved the spire to his property in Sydenham where it still remains.

St Antholin on Budge Row. Named for St Anthony of Egypt. The parish was made up of mostly people in the skin and fur trade from at least the 1300's. The church dates from at least 1114 and was torn down in 1874. Budge Row ran from Soper Lane to Walbrook. Beyond Soper it was known as Watling Street. Budge was lambskin fur.
