Large Memorial Stone Reads:
Memorial to Reverend William and Samuel Jefcoat (Pioneer Settlers 1785). Founders of Jefcoats Meeting House First Methodist Church in Lexington County and Urbane E Jeffcoat who gave 25 acres of land for church and cemetery (1852) also Walter T. Harley who saved the Church from burning (Civil War 1865)
The back of this memorial stone is engraved with many names. I am guessing Members of this First Methodist Church.
Some of the photos did not take well, but I will be putting photos for markers in the cemetery.
Some of the names you see on this list are also on the list for Ebenezer United Methodist. I placed all of these here because this is the actual burial place.
