Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie A Qualls, 79, were held today at Whitson Funeral Home with Arkley Billingsley officiating. Burial was in Double Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Qualls, widow of John B Qualls, and resident of the Pippin community, died Tuesday at the Master's Rest Home following a long illness.
She was the daughter of Elijah and Albina Lindsey Dowell and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are a daughters, Mrs. Magdalene Dyer, Cookeville; a step-daughter, Mae Burton of Dayton, Oh; sister, Mrs. Jewell Phy of McEwen.
