Candler---Roy Ronald Parris, 60, of 2039 Pisgah Hwy. passed away Friday, February 27, 2009.
Roy contributed to the community through his work as a brick mason and his many friends.
He was the son of the late Roy Gardner Parris and Evelyn Guy Parris.
Survived by a Mitzy Parris -Vazquez, Stacy Parris, and the late Roy Ronald Parris, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sisters Judy and Jean and a brother Steve and his extended loves ones the Wiggins Family.
The memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Stoney Fork Baptist Church on Black Oak Cove Road, Candler.
Jeff Massey will officiate the service.
The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.
