The following article was printed October 2, 1918 in the local newspaper.... Mrs. Lucinda Weathafer aged eighty-five years died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Henrietta Wilt 108 North Water Street, Monday night. She is survived by her husband Abraham Weathafer, two children; Mrs. Willt and Thomas Platts of Harrisburg, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Israel Abel of york. funeral services for the body will be held at her daughter's home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock...Rev.Hinkle of St. John's Protestant Episcopal church will officiate. Internment will be made in Prospect Hill Cemetery. (Section E Lot 68 along side her first husband John Platts)
