Funeral services for C.C. "Billy" Mosteller, 74, of Eva will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003, at Eva Baptist Church, the Rev. Daniel Mosteller officiating, with Burial in Cullman City Cemetery. The body will lie in state an hour prior to the service.

Peck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Mosteller died Sunday, Nov. 9, at his residence. He was born in Morgan County on Sept. 2, 1929, to C.C. "Lum" and Estora Mosteller. He was a member of Eva Baptist Church and Lions Club, a Mason and a veteran of the Korean Conflict where he served in the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his his parents; one son, Donald Lee Mosteller; one granddaughter, Julie Diane Mosteller; four brothers, Duane Mosteller, Clyde Mosteller, Burt Mosteller and Bruce Mosteller; and two sisters, Mattie Lou Keeton and Ruby Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Nora Imogene Mosteller of Eva; three sons, James (Kay) Mosteller of Hartselle, Leon Mosteller of Eva, and Daniel (Janette) Mosteller of Magnolia, Ariz.; daughter, Patricia Mosteller (Steve) Jeffreys of New Market; sister, Elzie Collier of Tallahassee, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Mosteller, Jonathan Mosteller, Jarrod Mosteller, Luke Mosteller, Tyler Mosteller, David Jeffreys and Michael Jeffreys.

Visitation was Monday.
