Mrs. Anna Steeenhoven passed away at her home her Thursday, November 6 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Steenhoven was born in Vierpolder near Briel, province of South Holland, Netherlands, on November 7, 1859. She came to America from Holland , March 4 1905 coming directly to Boyden, Iowa.
She is survived by two sons John and Isaac and 3 daughters Nellie, Sarah and Tena (Mrs. Dick Ver Mulm).
Funeral services were held at the Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley, conducted by Rev. John Van Zweden Monday. Interment was made in the cemetery beside her husband at Sioux Center.
