MR. WILLIAM THOMPSON "BILL" MULLIS, SR.
1930 - July 24, 2013

MR. WILLIAM THOMPSON "BILL" MULLIS, SR., of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 one week before his 83rd birthday.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, July 26, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Dr. Rick Mitchell and Rev. Brian Martin officiating.
Mr. Mullis was a member of First United Methodist Church, a 20 year retired Sergeant First Class of the U. S. Army, a member of the American Legion Post # 126, and a 30 year retired Location & Development Supervisor for Stuckey's Inc. He was son of the late Virginia Thompson Mullis & Newton Jackson Mullis and widower of Ingeborg "Inge" Falzeder Mullis. He was preceded in death by 2 Sons – William T. Mullis, Jr. & Newton Charles Mullis and 1 Brother – Charles Giddens.
The family may be contacted at the Mullis residence, 406 5th Avenue, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, July 25.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Faithful Hearts Animal Shelter, Eastman First United Methodist Church or the American Legion Post #126.
