Laurel (MS) Leader-Call, 23 Jan 1954 - Funeral services for W. N. Montgomery will be held Mon. at 2:30 pm from the West Laurel Bapt. Church. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cem. Mr. Montgomery died Friday afternoon at his home at 1528 Congress St. He was 87 years old & born Feb. 9, 1866 in Laurel, the son of th late Tolbert & Elizabeth Buckelew Montgomery. On Sept. 4, 1888, he married Miss Nellie Vicie Bush, who preceded him in death two years ago. Mr. Montgomery was a member & deacon of the West Laurel Bapt. church and a member of Masonic Lodge 414. Survivors: 2sons: W. Troy Montgomery - Pasadena, CA & Loy Montgomery-Hillsdale, MI; 2daus: Mrs. J. W. Watson, Sr. & Mrs. Gladys Watson, both of Laurel; 3bros: Jessie A.-Laurel, Henry-Tuckers Crossing comm. & Jordan Montgomery-Cleo comm.; sis: Mrs. J. H.
