Mr. Parvin was born in Huntsville, Ala., and had lived in Fort Worth for 46 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Parvin was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was a Mason and a member of Moslah Shrine Temple and Southside Commandery No. 83.
Survivors: Wife, Fae E. Parvin of Fort Worth; son, Joe Paul Crumpacker of Fort Worth; two sisters, Lucille Beavers of Hillsboro and Grace Ellen Bromley of Fort Worth; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
