Elzie Turner Harville, 76, died Sunday at his home in Baxter following a long illness.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Baxter Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Stringer of Baxter officiating.
Mr. Harville was a native of Smith County, son of the late Burkett and Nellie Jane Loman Harville of Elmwood, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carrie Dyer Harvill of Baxter; six sons, Herman Harville, Murfreesboro, Oscar, Haskill, Melvin, Elzie Jr., Warren G. Harrville all of Baxter; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Thompson, Mrs. Ruby Whitley, both of Nashville; Mrs. Cora Bryant of Cookeville; two brothers, Baxter Harville, Double Springs, George Harville, Elmwood; four sisters, Mrs. Bell Baldwin, Mrs. Florence Philpot, both of Double Springs; Mrs. Addie Herd, Nashville, Mrs. Dealie Massey, Elmwood.
