The heart of this area is the old Premyslid Castle, which was converted into the church seat. In addition to the cathedral, there is a museum, a bishop‘s palace, Kostel Svaté Anny, and Kaple Svaté Barbora. The cathedral south tower is the highest church tower in Moravia (and second in the Czech Republic), which houses the largest Moravian bell. There are tombstones and reliquaries located in other areas as well as a two-story crypt under the presbytery which is accessible to the public.
