The Marysville United Baptist Cemetery Extension is located behind 357 Canada Street now a vacant lot beside the Marysville United Church. The cemetery is in front of the Alexander Gibson United Church Cemetery.
The 2 cemeteries, The Alexander Gibson Memorial United Church Cemetery, and the Marysville United Baptist Cemetery Extension, are separated by a gravel access road that travels past the Marysville United Church at 351 Canada Street, Marysville.
389 Canada Street was once the home of the Marysville United Baptist Church. This church closed in Sept 2003 when a new Marysville United Baptist Church was opened and dedicated at 150 Cowperthwaite St. Marysville on the 6th of Sept 2003.
The building in front of the United Baptist Cemetery Extension at 357 Canada Street, was destroyed by fire in May 2012. It was originally the Marysville School built by Alexander 'Boss' Gibson and opened in 1864. It operated as a school up until 1927, when the Alexander Gibson Memorial School opened.
This building was later used as a Sunday school by the Baptist church and then as a Scouts hall.
