Enon Baptist Church is located West of Salisbury, off of Woodleaf Road. The Church was organized November 14, 1900, under the leadership of Dr. J. N. Stallings, a missionary with the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. Dr. J. N. Stallings served as first pastor from 1900-1904 with10 charter members. The first sanctuary was built in 1906 and renovated in 1932 and then again in 1949. On March 9, 1969, the church voted to build a new sanctuary. The building was dedicated on August 30, 1970. Many renovations have taken place since 1970. The newly bricked church has come a long way from its original white framed church.
