On August 7, 1967 the first known survey of this cemetery was completed by Dr. Allan E. Marble. Per his usual method, he did not name the cemetery but assigned it an identifying number, in this case 51, and a location, Round Hill.

At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed Dr. Marble's original survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb. At that time, the volunteers gave the cemetery the name "Round Hill 2 Cemetery" but in the Rootsweb index they called it "Round Hill Community Cemetery".

Dr. Marble transcribed 373 headstones, which he noted as being in good condition. This is an active cemetery, so additional burials have occurred since his survey in 1967.

DIRECTIONS:
The cemetery is located on the south side of Highway 201, directly across from Civic #1787. There is no sign but the entrance is marked by large stone memorial pillars.
