Located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) north of Souris, Manitoba, on the west side of Provincial Highway 250. Open to the public seven days a week from dawn to dusk.
In the interest of the overall appearance of the Cemetery, no person shall without the permission of the Cemetery Board remove, break or alter any tree, plant or other object.
A network of roadways provides vehicular access to the grounds and pathways further facilitate pedestrian access to the sections.
Cemetery clean-up occurs twice per year; each May and October. All items, with the exception of headstones, must be removed from every grave in the cemetery.
Information on plot and columbarium locations is available from the Municipality office (hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM).

A part of the town's story and those of its inhabitants from the early days of European settlement through roughly 2006 is told in the volume "The People of Souris and Glenwood - From the Earliest Beginnings to the Present" and in a related volume entitled "False Starts - A History of the First Settlements in the Souris Mouth Area".

Some additional information is contained in the 1996 MGS publication "Carved in Stone: Manitoba Cemeteries and Burial Sites" (revised edition, Special Projects Publication, 106 pages).
