F Front Yard
To the south (front) side of the church. Mainly grassed over but MI's do exist. After the current church was built in 1764 a number of bodies were transferred to here from the Old Yard.
N New Yard
Current burial plots numbered from 1 by the west gate and running down the north side of the church, including those to the west of the tower. Opened in 1858. Contains 1060 plots, each could accommodate up to 6 people.
O Old Yard
In the north east corner of the churchyard, now heavily covered in brambles. Was the site of the old church prior to 1764 and many graves were contained within the building walls. A number of bodies were transferred to the Front Yard after 1764, but burials continued here, until at least 1892. Approximately 460 plots have been identified and the first surname on the stone (if one exists) has been recorded with the date. A rough sketch plan exists. The graveyard covers a quarter of the area of the New Yard and the registers record approx 10,000 burials - where are they all?
R Rawson Cemetery
Area immediately to the east of the church, a private marked out area for the Rawson family of Brockwell, Sowerby.
