Ansel Bailey, wife Elizabeth, and approximately 30-35 other Bailey family members are interred at the foot of Bailey Mountain near his old home.

In the 1960s it was located near the Henry Grindstaff barn and only a half dozen markers were visible. By 1981 it had been dozed to make room for a mobile home.

In 1988 a large marker was erected by Ansel's descendants in his memory and of all who were interred here.
