Gard Cemetery
Peabody, Marion County, Kansas, USA
It contains 190 lots, each one 7.5 feet by 18 feet, to allow for at least four persons per lot. The numbering begins in the northeast corner of the cemetery and goes west for 19 lots, then drops down south and runs back east another 19 lots in a zig-zag fashion.
Although the cemetery is still active, the only records being kept, both now and in the past, are of each lot purchased and the owner's name. There are no records of who is buried in each lot. One has to look for a gravestone or contact the owner or his descendants for more information
