The death of Mrs Hanorah Gahan occurred at the home of her daughter Mrs Frank Erickson on Monday.
Mrs Gahan has been suffering for the past year with dropsy but not until the last eleven weeks was she confined to her bed.
Mrs Gahan was seventy one years of age, being born in New Brunswick on December 24, 1843. She came to Tomahawk in the year of 1850 and has made her home here since that time. She is survived by seven children, five boys, Leo Gahan of Lacrosse, George Gahan of Grnad Rapids, Mich, Thomas Gahan of Gilbert, Minnesota, John W and B J Gahan of this city and Two daughters, Mrs C B Dewing and Mrs Frank Erickson both of this city.
Last words and ceremonies were said Wednesday morning by Fr van Heiden at St Mary's church and burial made in calvary cemetery.
The pallbearers were, M L Fizgerald; Phillip Marcouiller, W H McDermott; P E Stone, Edward Houlehan and James Kelley.
