Tom was born in 1948 in Brownwood, Texas to Billy Joe Chrane and Mary Frances O'Neal Chrane. He was the second of six children. He graduated from Early High School in 1966. He married Connie Purcell in 1972. He was an electrician and owner of Brown County Electric. He loved his business and fishing for catfish. He was a member of the Blanket First Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He is survived by his parents, his wife, three children, Brenda Chrane Michael and husband, Wes; Rebekah Chrane Bianco; and Tommy Chrane, Jr and wife, Mandy; six grandchildren, Wyatt, Jake, and Collin Michael; Deonna Chrane, Michael and Sophia Bianco; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Homer and Faye Purcell; four sisters and one brother; several nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by a brother-in-law, Lynn Rudloff, and his grandparents, Thomas and Georgia Chrane and E.D. and Catherine O'Neal.
He is greatly missed.
