Floyd Quire 58, of W. Adams St. Muncie IN, died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday Jun. 27 1950 at Ball Hospital after an extended illness. He was born Jan. 9 1892, in Frankfort KY, and had lived in Muncie for 40 years.

Floyd was a machinist, and had worked for Delco Remy for 17 years.

Surviving were his widow, Clora E. (Worrel) Quire; two daughters, Miss Margaret Quire at home and Mrs. Georgia Popp of Detroit MI; two sons, Billy Eugene and Kenneth H., both of Muncie; four brothers, Paskel of Indianapolis, Ernest of Frankfort KY, and John and Lawrence, both of Muncie; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Webber, Mrs. May Toomey and Mrs. Nora Green, all of Muncie, and five grandchildren.

The body was removed to M. L. Meeks and Sons mortuary where funeral arraignments were completed. Friends called at his residence after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Services were at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Meeks mortuary. The Rev. A. W. McDavitt officiated. Interment was in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
