John Ducker, a native of California and popular Reno resident, passed away at his home from an intestinal rupture on the night of September 29, 1896.

He had been employed at at his uncle J. J. Becker's bar at the time of his death, and was well known and liked by many Reno residents.

Survivors included his mother, Mrs. Anna Marie Picchi; a brother, George A. Ducker; a sister, Mrs. Marie Baader; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ducker.
