Seventh of eight children and fourth son of Peter Wormood and Alphleda Janes. Spouse of Anna Elizabeth "Annie" Smith. Children: Willie C, Fred Edward, Harry Gilbert, Frank Arthur, Blanche Emma, Grace May and a daughter who died at birth.

22 May 1924: Norman N. Wormood, 85, Dies at Y.M.C.A.: Norman N. Wormood, 85, died last Thursday at the Y.M.C.A. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Wormood was born in Manlius, N.Y., Oct 2, 1839. He was a Lake Geneva resident for 48 years during which time, up until the last few years, he worked at his trade as machinist. Funeral services were held at the Baptist church of which he was a member for many years, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery. Deceased is survived by two sons, Frederick of Chicago, and Arthur, Brooklyn, N.Y., and one daughter, Mrs. Blanche Graham, Oshkosh, Wis. Mrs. Wormood died in 1917. [Lake Geneva Regional News]
