British Royalty. Also known as Margaret of York, she was the daughter of third duke of York Richard Plantagenet, and sister of King Edward IV and King Richard, III. She became Duchess of Burgundy in 1468 when she married Duke Charles of Burgundy. She bore no children of her own but became a devoted stepmother to Mary of Burgundy, his daughter by Isabelle de Bourbon.
