Mr. Allman was the son of the late Wiley Benjamin Allman and Mrs. Flara Bell Aldridge Allman and was a veteran of the United States Navy having served from 1960 until 1964. He was a member of Lithia Springs Church of Christ. Mr. Allman worked as an aircraft mechanic in the aircraft repair industry and had retired from Northwest Airlines and Lockheed. In addition to his father, Mr. Allman was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Theresa Marks Allman. Survivors include his daughter, Sally Allman; his son and daughter-in-law, Glenwood B. Allman, Jr. and Stacey Allman; his mother, Mrs. Flara Bell Aldridge Allman; sisters, Denise Cooper, Janet Cooper, Katherine Durham, Charlotte Mayo, Robyn Rud, Alice Prophater and Joyce Jarrell; brothers, Wiley Allman and John Allman; two grandchildren; Katlyn Allman and Glenwood B. Allman, III. Mr. Allman died at age 63 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
