Recitation of the Rosary will be Wednesday, November 29, at 6:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 30, at 9:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 601 E. California Ave., for Carmen "Juarez" Ontiveros. Carmen is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Montes Ontiveros; father and mother, Saturnino and Cleofas Ramirez Juarez; brothers, Felipe and Juan Juarez; sisters,; Angela Villanueva and Trinidad Soto; and son, Aurelio Joe Ontiveros. She is survived by her daughter, Socorro Ontiveros Lopez; brothers, Theodoro, Benino, Saturnino, Andres, Emiliano and Antonio Juarez; sister, Ruth Juarez; grandchildren, Corina, Blas Anthony, Rosa and Raymond Trevino, Eric Ontiveros, Tony S., Miguel A. and Tracy S. Lopez; over 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Casketbearers are Andres, Ramon and Miguel Juarez, Tony S. Lopez, Raymond Trevino and Eric Ontiveros. Carmen was a member of the Sociedad de Oro. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel.
