American Actor. Kosana was a character actor who will best be remembered for his role as Sheriff McClelland in George Romero's 1968 cult-classic 'Night of the Living Dead'. He reprised the role of Sheriff McClelland in both 'Living Dead' (2012) and 'My Uncle John is a Zombie!' (2016). He also appeared in Romero’s 'There’s Always Vanilla' (1971), as well as 'The Booby Hatch' (1976) and 'Incest Death Squad' (2009). Kosana, who was a regular at horror conventions, died after struggling with several health problems over the past several years, including emphysema, chronic obstruction pulmonary disease and macular degeneration.
