Mrs. Louise Carter Arnette, 95-year-old sister of Mrs. Ketus (Mary) Johnson of Bunnell, died at her home in New Smyrna Beach Tuesday night.
She was born April 22, 1852 in Palatka but had resided in New Smyrna for 30 years. She was one of the 17 children of George Carter, an early settler at Cartersville, community between Bunnell and St. Augustine.
Another sister survives, Mrs. J. L. (Minnie Idella) Morrison of Hastings. Burial was made at Edgewater cemetery.
