Louanna was the widow of Earl Banks and Oscar "Bug" Day. She was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Little Cowan Primitive Baptist Church. Louanna was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by a son, Edison Glen Banks, Sr. and wife Sue of Little Cowan, Kentucky; a daughter: Christine Gatton and husband Bob of Knoxville, Tennessee; a step-son: Mack Gene Day and family of Louisville, Kentucky; two step-daughters: Brenda Bentley and husband Meryl of Partridge, Kentucky, Mary Jane Bentley and family of Louisville, Kentucky and a sister, Elsie Banks of Little Cowan, Kentucky.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Louanna was preceded in death by a son: Ronald Earl Banks, sister: Gladys Caudill Pitts; brothers: Burnice Caudill, Edison Caudill, Cassel Caudill, "Little" Charlie Caudill and John Fleenor.
