US Congressman. A member of the Democratic Party, he served Arizona's fifth district in the United States House of Representatives from 1983 until 1985. Born in Boston, he served in the United States Army during World War II. Following the war, he attained his law degree from the University of Arizona. He served in the Arizona State Senate from 1969 until 1975. After he was defeated for reelection in 1984, McNulty resumed practicing law. He died from complications of Parkinson's disease.
