Donna Loris Blakemore, 77, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2006, at home, after a short illiness. She was born April 15, 1929, in Davenport, Iowa, to Ernest Hagerman and Alice (Buesing) Hagerman.

Donna was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa. During WWII she lived in Coeur d'Alene while her father was stationed at Farragut Naval Station. She returned to Davenport with her family where she graduated from high school.

She met John "Bill" Blakemore in 1971 and were married Sept. 20th, 1976. They built their first home in Placerville, California, living there from 1977 to 1982. A second home was built in Shingle Springs, California and they lived there until 1992 when they moved to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.

Donna was a bank manager at Lloyds of London in the Fremont and Castro Valley, California offices. She enjoyed painting, scrapbooking, stamping, cooking, home decor and gardening. She was an excellent seamstress. She was a long time member of both the Coeur d'Alene Garden Club and The Inland Empire Garden Club. One of her paintings was used as a poster for an annual garden tour.

Donna is survived by her husband, John "Bill" of Coeur d'Alene; son, Michael McNary; brother, Todd and wife, Kathy Hagerman of Redding, California; Lynn Hagerman of Florida; stepmother, Harriet Hagerman of Sacramento, California; sister, Ellen; 3 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and a sister.
