Mary Elizabeth Ball, 87, of Huron, passed away Thursday at 5:45 p.m. at the Dunn Memorial Hospital, where she entered three weeks ago.

Mrs. Ball was born in Washington County on July 28, 1873 to Harrison and Mary Robbins. She was united in marriage to George Ball in 1897, who survives.

Other survivors include 2 sons, Dewey of Route 1, Mitchell and John of Route 3, Mitchell; 3 daughters, Stella Terry, Huron, Cora Blanton, Fort Wayne and Hester Lindquist, Chicago, 1 sister, Ella Terrell of Mitchell, 1 brother William Robins of West Baden and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One daughter, Martha and two sons Noble and Sampson proceeded her in death. Sampson passed away this past Tuesday, July 18. His services were held this afternoon at the Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ball will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Chastain Funeral home in Mitchell with the Rev. A J H?, pastor of the Bedford Church of God officiating. Burial will take place in the Huron Cemetery under the direction of the Chastain Funeral Home.

Wife of George Ball married 8 Aug 1897 in Martin County, Indiana. To this union eight children were born; Sampson, Walter Dewey, Noble, John Henry, Cora, Martha J., Hester and Stella Ball.
