CLOVIS, N.M. - Gerta Jeannette Anderson, 74, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Mission Garden of Memories with Chris Calagan officiating. Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home Inc.

Gerta Jeannette Eads was born 10-Nov 1924 in Carbon Hill, Walker, Alabama to Lafayette Pratt Eads and Annie Alma Brymer.

She married Harvey Lee Anderson in 1957 in Alabama. They moved to Clovis in 1963. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985; and two sons, Robert E. Gilbert and Jerry M. Gilbert.

Survivors include three sons, Terry Gilbert of Eldridge, Ala., Harvey Anderson of Dyess AFB, Abilene, Texas, and Hoyt L. Anderson of Leland, N.C.; four daughters, Bonnie Gilbert, Ann Rainey, Jeannette Martin and Patricia Thompson, all of Clovis; a brother, Harold Eads of Alabama; two sisters, Bobbie Sue Cunningham of Eldridge and Audrey Draper of Jasper, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
