Age 77, daughter of the late Maurice and Helen Donaghy Power. She served in the U.S. Navy as a pharmacist's mate third class. She was a graduate of Oil City High School and a 1945 graduate of Villa Maria College. She taught in the Erie School District and had been a substitute home economics teacher. She was a member of St. Julia Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Aho, in 1979; two sisters, Maureen Haak and Jeanne Stafford; and a brother, Maurice "Lefty" Power.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Aho Becht (Thomas), of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Helen Aho Jackowski (David), of Erie; three sons, John D. Aho Jr. (Yvonne), of San Diego, Calif., Maurice A. Aho (Susan), of Erie, and Joseph D. Aho of Fort Lauderdale; three sisters, Mary Helen Brumbach of Ohio, Margaret "Peg" Fogle and Judy Campbell, both of Erie; seven grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
