Major League Baseball Player. For three seasons (2002 to 2004), he was a left-handed pitcher with the Houston Astros and Cleveland Indians. Signed by Houston during the 1995 Amateur Draft, he made his Major League debut with the Astros on September 2, 2002 and appeared in 11 games that season. In 2003, he joined their starting rotation which included Roy Oswalt and Wade Miller. During that season, Robertson set a franchise record with 15 wins by a rookie (in spite of a high ERA of 5.10) and led all rookie Major League pitchers, while finishing in 7th place in the National League Rookie of the Year voting. In 51 career games, he compiled a 16 win, 12 loss record, with a lifetime 5.71 ERA. He died in a motorcycle accident.
