Chris was much loved by family & friends. Outgoing & funny, he always made you laugh.

A 1991 graduate of Valley High School & 1993 graduate of Southern Union State Junior College, he was a cosmetologist by trade & worked at Toby's Hair Salon in West Point, GA.

In high school he was one of the first males on a high school color guard in Alabama, which he loved & marched three years with the Valley High School PRIDE & was captain his senior year.

After graduating from college he lived in Lanett, AL & enjoyed socializing with his many friends in Atlanta & Columbus, GA.

Chris went Home to be with the Lord after a 5 month illness, finally succumbing to pneumonia as a complication due to AIDS. He was being cared for at Grady Hospital in Atlanta.

His funeral was held at the Rehobeth Baptist Church in Valley, and was standing room only. The entire Valley High School Class of 1991 were his pall bearers. Burial followed in the adjoining Hall Memorial C.M.E. Church Cemetery.
