Hugh Ralph Monsen, passed away peacefully at home in Brigham City, Utah , August 7th, 1975.

He was born on July 21st, 1911

Hugh married Juno Arvello Grimmett on April 14th, 1932 in Blackfoot, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles Temple.

He was a wonderful father, grand-father and great grand-father. He was a life time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

My grandpa lived life to the fullest. He was a salesman of sorts. He was always a happy man through out life even though he was suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. Every year 3 or 4 times a year my grandpa and grandma would drive from Utah to California and pick up my brother and I and bring us back to Utah and we would go camping, fishing, and
visit with other family members in Utah and Idaho. My grandpa was the best and his death was sudden and unexpected for us all. We love and miss him very much.

Surviving him are his wife Juno A. Grimmett Monsen, his three daughters Valene (Hank) Krone,of Brigham City, Utah, Carma Jean (Jim) Cady, of Brigham City, Utah, and Ann Elizabeth (Mike, Michael) McClure, of Sandy, Utah;13 grandchildren, 18 great-grand children and 4 great great grand children.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gayla June Monsen Street, Gayla's two daughter's that died at birth Linda Street, and Susan Street, (all three are buried at Murray City Cemetery)

My grandpa was joined in heaven by his wife Juno on Monday Jun. 21, 2004 and three months later by his grand son (my brother) Mark John Doby on Monday September 27th , 2004. Mark is the little boy in the picture above, sitting on grandpa's lap back in the days.

XOXOXOXOXOXO to all of you. Miss you and love you.
