Actor. From the late 1930's until the mid 1950s he was the most prominent African-American actor working in two reel comedies. Contracted by Columbia Pictures, he appeared in more than 80 films such as The Three Stooges' "A Plumbing We Will Go", and "Abbott and Costello Go to Mars". He also appeared in the "Amos N' Andy" shows of the 1950s.
