Born in 1941 in Cumberland, MD, Sharon graduated in 1959 from St. Mary's High School one of a class of 19.
She joined the Army after High School and met G.N. Davidson and was married on April 7, 1960.
She lived in SweetHome Oregon, Boise, Idaho and Philadelphia PA.
In 1972 she joined the Army Reserves in Boise at the 6228th School of Engineering and attained the rank of E-6.
She was the Wicked StepMother in the Boise Little Theatre production of Hansel and Gretel in 1973, and had the role of Mrs. Margolin in the production of Forty Carats.
In 1980 she moved to Philadelphia and worked as a bartender, a security guard and housekeeper.
She died from Cancer at home with her daughter Liz at her side.

She grew up in Cumberland MD, joined the Girl scouts and worked in her family-owned grocery store. She graduated from St Mary's High School in 1959, part of an all girl class of 19. Before her death, she'd been able to write and keep in contact with her former classmates. After graduation, she joined the Army. She got to meet Elvis Presley and she met my Dad (Jerry Davidson) at Fort Slocum. After getting married, conflict of interest thing,she joined the Navy Res. and was Honorably discharged in May of 1963. In June 1963, she gave birth to me, Elizabeth (Liz) at the same hospital in MD where she'd been born. In 1964 the family moved to SweetHome OR where she attended Oregon State and also went to Beauty School. In 1968 the family moved to Ontario OR. Then, to Boise, ID. Sharon was a volunteer for St Joseph's Elementary School, and coordinated fundraisers like the Crab Feed and April Fest. She was an active campaigner for the Political Candidates of her choice. Fmr. ID Gov Cecil Andrus and Sen. Frank Church both knew her by name. In 1972, she Enlisted into the Army Reserves. 6228th in Boise. In 1973 she appeared as the Wicked Step-Mother in the Boise Little Theatre production of Hansel and Gretel, also, as Mrs. Margolin in 40 Carats. In 1980, she left the Army Reserves for the Idaho Army Natl Guard. In Dec. 1980, she was divorced and going to Boise State majoring in Nursing and Communication. She attended for two years. In 1982 She began making her way east. She stayed for awhile in Clayton, NM and was profiled in the local newspaper as the "lady roofer". She made her way to Philadelphia. She worked as a housekeeper, a security guard, as a secretary at Traffic Court and as a bartender. She was a commitee chairperson for the Republican Party, a member of AMVETS, a member of the NRA, a member of the Humane Society and a member of St. Bartholemew's Parish.
Mom left behind her husband, Ed, her daughter Liz, grandson, James,her cats, EJ(ed jr.) and Annabelle.
