She married the Reverend Elisha Joseph Fessenden on January 4, 1865, at her parents' home in Kingsey Township
Mother of 4 sons, the eldest of whom was the 'Father of Radio Broadcasting', Reginald Aubrey Fessenden (1866-1932)
The Fessendens lived first in Austin, Quebec (near Bolton in the Eastern Townships), where their eldest son was born. In 1868 Rev Fessenden was called to minister at Fergus, Ontario, followed by Chippawa near Niagara Falls in 1878. Three more sons arrived while the Fessendens lived in Fergus
From 1893 until his death in 1895, Reverend Fessenden was Rector of St John's Anglican Church, Ancaster, Ontario, where he and Clementina, with their youngest son, Victor, lie at rest.
