My mother's brother Roy is buried beside his father Albert N. Clay at Redwing Cemetery. He died at age 61 in Far Rockaway N.Y. Hospital. Roy was preeceded in death by his mother Saphronia Jane Porter Clay (1914-1969), his father Albert N. Clay 1904-1979. His brother Harold L. Clay Sr. (1935-1996). He was survived by 5 sisters, Alberta Diesing of Far Rockaway, NY, Bethel Stroder of Oak Grove, LA, Donna Jane Johnson of Marion, AR, Virginia "Ginny" Brown of Vickburg, MS, and Gloria Collum of Oak Grove, LA. Three brothers, Carl "CP" Clay of Valley Park, MS, Cletus N. Clay Sr. of Pioneer, LA, and Virgil Clay of Vicksburg, MS. He died of complications from diabetes.
