 " Preston Sturges, such as "The Miracle of Morgan's Creek" in 1944 and "Hail the Conquering Hero" in the same year. On stage he appeared in "The Seven Year Itch," "The Odd Couple," and "Hello Dolly!" Born Edward Vincent Bracken, he was described as having an "owl face". He made numerous radio broadcasts and had his own program, "The Eddie Bracken Show" for which he earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A second star on the  Hollywood Walk of Fame was awarded for his work on television, including appearances on "The Dick Van Dyke Show," "Rawhide" and "Murder She Wrote."  He died from the post-operative complications of neck disc surgery. He married and had five children.
