She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Willie Kitchen; her daughters: Gerry Avallone, Diana Spencer and Maurine Carver; her son, William M. Kitchen; her grandchildren: George Vasill Jr., Melissa Robertson, Jared Rosckes and wife Cindy, Crystal Carle, Alicia Kitchen Wall and Schuyler and Serena M. Kitchen; her great-grandchildren, Kyle, Meagan Landon, Carson and Brayden; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be 5-9:00 pm on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 13, 2011 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
