Politician, Author. Sir Henry Seton-Karr, C.M.C.D.L., was a noted hunter, explorer, outdoorsman and author. He was also a former member of the British Parliament, a position he held for 20 years. Returning to England from a hunting trip to British Columbia, he was among 1,012 passengers who perished in Canada's greatest maritime disaster when the Empress of Ireland sank in the St. Lawrence River.
