Monegasque Princess. The eldest daughter of Prince Antonio I, her was a more unique than rare case in the history of the principality's rulers. She was sovereign for only 10 months and the initiator of the Grimaldi dynasty together with her husband Giacomo I, married in 1715 with the approval of the King of France Louis XIV. After her untimely death from an infectious disease, the ruling house continued with an exclusively male succession line.
