Canadian politician. A native of Saint-Hermas (Québec), he studied to become a teacher at the Jacques-Cartier Schoolin Montreal, then at the Military academy. With obtained its certificate of teacher like two certificates of the Military academy. He worked as a farmer in Saint-Hermas and became secretary of the Agriculture Society of the county of Deux-Montagnes. He was elected Mayor of Saint-Hermas and he served also as Prefect of the county of Deux-Montagnes. After a first unsuccesful try in 1881, he was elected as the Conservative representative of the Deux-Montagnes district to the Legislative Assemblyin a by-election on October 21, 1882. This election was cancelled on December 7, 1883, but he was re-elected at another by-election held on March 26, 1884. In 1886, he was reelected without opposition this time as a Independant Conservative. He got re-elected under the same allegiance in 1890 and without opposition in 1892, but was defeated twice, in 1897 and in 1900. He passed away in his hometown.
