Law" from 1987 to 1988. He was born one of two children as Martin Monroe Azarow in Brooklyn, New York, to Polish immigrants Paul Morris Azarow and his wife Henrietta Yellin Azarow on July 4, 1934. He worked in New York and eventually relocated to Los Angeles, California. He made his television debut playing the role of 'Packrat' in the police series, "Starsky And Hutch," in 1976. He made his actual film debut playing the role of 'Lombardi' in the television science-fiction comedy film, "The Magnificent Magical Magnet Of Santa Mesa," in 1977. The film which was directed by Hy Averback, and which also starred Michael Burns, Dick Blasucci, and Jane Connell, tells the story of a nerdy inventor who accidentally discovers a way to make a force-field that could completely revolutionize the industrial world. His boss and a greedy millionaire plan to steal the formula and use it to make themselves even richer. Besides, "The Magnificent Magical Magnet Of Santa Mesa" (1977), his many other film credits include, "Born To Be Sold" (1981), "Some Kind Of Hero" (1982), "Mae West" (1982), "They Call Me Bruce" (1982), "Missing Pieces" (1983), "The Outlaws" (1984), and "Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life Is Calling" (1986). Hooker," "St. Elsewhere," "Taxi," "Remington Steele," "The A-Team," "The New Mike Hammer Show," "Hill Street Blues," "Brothers," "The Twilight Zone," "Hooperman," "Hunter," "Max Headroom," "Cagney & Lacey," "Ohara," "Doogie Howser, M.D." "Matlock," "Equal Justice," and "Pee-Wee's Playhouse." His last film role was playing 'Leon Murch' in the action crime mystery film, "The Jigsaw Murders" (1989), which also starred Chad Everett, Michelle Johnson, and Michael Sabatino. During his acting career, he also appeared on radio and in theatre productions. He retired from acting in the early 1990s and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. He came out of retirement briefly and lent his voice to the character of 'Dino Klein' for the "Blade Runner" video game in 1997 which was loosely based on the popular movie of the same name which starred Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer in 1982. He was a longtime member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio. He passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 69. He was married to Marjorie Louisa Jones Azarow (1933-2008), but the couple had no children.
