Artist, Mayor of Canton, Georgia. In the 1890s, he was commissioned by the Atlanta Ladies Memorial Association to create a monument to honor the unknown Confederate soldiers buried in Atlanta's historic Oakland Cemetery. Made of Georgia marble and based on the Swiss sculpture "The Lion of Lucerne," Brady designed and sculpted the "Lion of Atlanta." He was a Councilman in Canton, Georgia before becoming that city's Mayor in the early 1900s. He died after suffering a stroke in 1907.
