Major League Baseball Player. He was an outfielder making his debut with the Philadelphia Phillies on June 8, 1903. For eleven seasons, he played with the Philadelphia Phillies (1903-12), Boston Braves in 1913 and lead the National League in hit by pitches with 16 in 1909. He ended his career with a record of 1401 hits, 38 home runs, 561 runs batted in and a .282 batting average. He died at age 66 in St. Clair, Pennsylvania.
